NBS BIM survey 2020: Have your say!
There is still time to complete NBS’ 10th annual BIM survey. This 10th survey tracking adoption of BIM also asks construction professionals about their broader digital journey
This 10th survey tracking adoption of BIM also asks construction professionals about their broader digital journey.
For a decade, the annual survey has tracked BIM, documenting awareness and adoption from little more than 10% in 2011, to almost 70% in 2019. This year, we continue to ask professionals about their adoption and experience of BIM. But, in recognition of the technological innovation taking place across the industry, we have broadened this survey to ask people what digital technologies they are using to improve ways of working.
You can complete this year’s NBS National BIM Survey, open until the 1 March, here: theNBS.com/bim-survey-2020
A pre-release 2020 BIM report will be sent to all participants, so those taking part will be among the first to have access to the findings.
The 2019 report represented the views of nearly 1,000 industry professionals and reflected on the launch of the ISO standards, showing that 16% of organisations had already started to use the ISO 19650 series of standards.
The NBS Chorus specification system alongside the full range of NBS BIM tools and resources supports the construction industry in its transition to a digital world.
