Are you ready for CEW Awards 2021?

The CEW Awards 2021 are now live. Are you going to enter? Will you be a winner? Will you be a sponsor and support the biggest and best celebration of Welsh construction? Find out how.

It’s live. Launched last month the CEW Awards are open for entries, sponsorship and it is time to save the date and plan what you intend to do as part of a celebration of Welsh construction best practice.

This is your time to shine and get involved! Deadline for entries is 19th April. Start planning.

Our awards are recognised across the Welsh built environment as the biggest and brightest celebration of best practice. They are a clear demonstration of the core strength of construction in Wales and the desire and commitment to deliver buildings, roads, bridges, and facilities of all kinds in a collaborative and sustainable manner.

Our awards are open to all organisations and project teams involved in delivering buildings and civil engineering projects in Wales. Entries are welcomed from developers, clients, contractors, specialist and sub-contractors, engineers, of all disciplines, members of the design team and other consultants. The key factor is that the project, scheme, process or philosophy contributes to the Welsh built environment and can be celebrated as an example of best practice.

Gaining this prestigious acclamation, demonstrates achieving excellence in Welsh construction and makes you stand out from the crowd. Our awards encompass the whole of the construction sector in Wales and will bring enormous benefits to your business by being recognised by your peers, helping you to attract new clients, cement existing relationships and raise your staff morale. As a winner, even as one of the best entries you will be promoted by CE Wales, there is the chance for media coverage, case studies and a move to Exemplar status. It really is the best way to showcase your team, your projects and your organisation.

Again, this year we would like you to consider nominating a Welsh SME although this is not compulsory. Welsh construction is underpinned by SMEs and they do not always receive the recognition they deserve.

Entries will be considered by an independent panel of judges. We would also remind you that all shortlisted submissions will be required to present online to a panel of independent judges week commencing 14th June 2021, dates to be advised once the shortlist has been announced.

Entry forms are available here. The deadline for submissions is midday:19th April 2021.

We are currently planning to hold an online ceremony on Friday 24th September 2021, if COVID restrictions change over the coming months and we are allowed to hold a dinner this will be held on the same date. We will keep you informed of all arrangements.
