NEC3 Engineering and Construction Contract (ECC) – Cardiff
NEC3 is a family of contracts suitable for procuring a diverse range of works, goods and services using a collaborative approach based on good project management practices. It is now widely used in engineering and construction projects having replaced the old ICE contract and making significant penetration into building market which was traditional let under the JCT form of contracts.
CEW, ICE and the Welsh Best Practice Clubs is holding a one day event focusing on the NEC3 Engineering and Construction Contract (ECC) hosted by Dr Jon Broome. Delegates will gain an understanding of the key aspects of ECC including its principle objectives, how it is designed as a management tool, its advantages and disadvantages and the contribution of the ECC to the effective management of a project. However, having given an overview of the family and the ECC, Jon will devote most of the day to answering delegates specific questions.
This one day workshop will therefore be of benefit to anyone working with the NEC who wants to improve their projects outcomes, including project managers, contract managers, quantity surveyors, planners, clients, consultants, contractors and their supply chain.
Two years ago when we rang this seminar, it proved highly popular both in terms of numbers attending and delegate feedback and scoring on the day.
