CEWales Members Meeting

22 Mar
Tuesday 22nd March 2022
8am to 12.30pm
Cardiff
Free

We are reinvigorating the way we operate! We continue to plan more events to help share best practice, collaborate working and networking opportunities to pursue the values of CEWales together as a movement. But because we are a membership organisation and represent our members – we want to give you a chance to tell us what you want and challenge us on our ideas and approach. We are also looking at the event as an opportunity to demonstrate to you the importance of becoming a member and encourage you to attend to find out more about becoming a member of CEWales.

That’s why we are kicking off our reinvigorated approach with a dedicated members event on 22nd March. The event will commence at 8am with refreshments, finishing at 12.30pm with lunch giving you the opportunity to network with colleagues.

The aim of the day is to allow members and those interested in becoming a member, to be able to hold the CEWales team to account and tell us exactly what you want us to do for you and debate our programme. You will also have an opportunity to hear presentations from clients on what is on the horizon, pipeline and other sectoral pertinent issues. The event will take place in Cardiff – at Blake Morgan’s offices – with keynote speakers from major clients and an opportunity for two-way feedback – all geared to drive our change agenda forward.

We want the format to be as interactive as possible and there will be plenty of time for questions, during the sessions and informally during breaks and lunch.

You will have an opportunity to help shape CEWales strategic focus and give thoughts on how we should achieve this. We will share with you a new way of working, by formulating specific outcome based working groups. Success will only be achieved through YOU, all dependant on nominations to take the themes forward. Opportunities will be focused on:

  • Sustainable Buildings
  • Sustainable Housing
  • Future mobility
  • Decarbonisation

All of which need representation!

We are also looking for thought leadership, comment, opinion and people to speak at events – to lead. We want people to champion CE principles and play a part in influencing policy and delivery on our Statutory and Management Boards.

If you would like to attend please email susan.selkirk@cewales.org.uk a calendar invite will then be sent to you.

We look forward to seeing and hearing from you on 22nd March to shape the direction of CEWales for 2022 and beyond.
