Kier Hosts Volunteer Day at Sutton Mountain in Pembrokeshire
On Friday, 18th June, Kier proudly hosted a volunteer day at Sutton Mountain as part of the community benefits linked to the Haverfordwest Public Transport Interchange project. The event brought together local volunteers under the summer sun to enhance the area’s natural beauty and accessibility.
Volunteers worked hard to improve walking paths, install wayfinding signs, and open new areas for exploration, all of which will contribute to a more connected and enjoyable outdoor experience for the community.
A special thank you goes to Pembrokeshire Council Youth Service, whose support was instrumental in making the day a success.
While these improvements may seem modest, their impact is far-reaching. By linking walking routes and making the area more accessible, the project encourages outdoor activity, supports wellbeing, and strengthens community ties. Events like this are a powerful reminder that when we come together, we can make a real difference.
