Join The Construction Innovation Hub Party

As the Construction Innovation Hub prepares for the end of our programme it will be hosting a series of legacy receptions in London, Edinburgh and Cardiff. Join us and the CIH team and its partners in Cardiff on 14th September

In November 2018, UK Research and Innovation (UKRI) followed a nationwide competition as part of the Industrial Strategy Challenge Fund. With an ambition to drive innovation and technological advances in the UK construction and infrastructure sectors the Construction Innovation Hub (The Hub) was launched.

Backed by Government, founding partners Building Research Establishment (BRE), Manufacturing Technology Centre (MTC) and the University of Cambridge Centre for Digital Built Britain (CDBB). The Hub has been collaborating with the Transforming Construction Challenge partners, along with over 300 organisations, industry bodies, policy-makers, practitioners, and academics to develop solutions that will keep driving the transformation of the construction sector forward. The aim of which is to create a market with the capability and capacity needed to protect the future of the UK’s construction sector whilst meeting the increasingly complex needs of our infrastructure.

As the Construction Innovation Hub prepares for the end of our programme we will be hosting a series of legacy receptions in London, Edinburgh and Cardiff.

Our reception will be a celebration of all that has been achieved and a thank you to all our supporters who have made delivery of the programme possible. We will look back on the legacy we leave behind with a look forward to what is next and what commitment is required to take these outputs and continue the transformational journey.
