Circular Economy and Resource Efficiency

CEWales is working with Welsh Government’s Circular Economy and Resource Efficiency team on the 2024 European Circular Economy Hotspot, taking place on the 7-9 October 2024, in Cardiff. This is an international convention; we are delighted that Wales has been successful in being chosen to host the 2024 Hotspot.

The Circular Economy Hotspot Cymru website:  has recently been launched.

CEWales has been asked to engage with the sector, seen as integral to the event, to seek your ideas and suggestions on:

•            Sourcing best practice

•            Site visits

•            Exhibitors

Please provide your suggestions to us at so we can put these forward for inclusion.

We also encourage you to save the date and attend this international event.

At the Hotspot, Wales' circular economy achievements and aspirations will be shared, and you will learn about circular economy solutions from the public sector, private sector, and communities from Wales and beyond. There will be an opportunity to directly engage with Welsh projects across industry, business, public bodies, academia, and our towns and cities.

The Hotspot will welcome circular economy innovators, leaders, and thinkers from across the world, to further build relationships and open up opportunities for international collaboration.
