The built environment is the focus of several environmental taxes in the UK (landfill tax and aggregates levy in particular) and each one has the potential to severely compromise the commercial objectives of any development or infrastructure project.

Mike Trotman, environmental taxes specialist with Centurion VAT, has over 30 years experience of indirect taxes including more than 20 years working with environmental taxes. He has advised some of the largest infrastructure projects in the UK on their environmental tax costs and has provided evidence to both national and regional governments about their future environmental tax policies. He sits on various professional committees and is a contributing author to several tax technical publications.

In this session, Mike will briefly outline the mechanics of landfill tax and aggregates levy before highlighting aspects of each that may be critically important for construction and infrastructure projects.

This webinar will take place via Zoom, once we have received your booking a link will be sent.
