CIHT - “Reality versus ambition” How Welsh Government-led initiatives like legislation on active travel and future generations, is shaping how we walk and cycle in Wales?

Speaker: Steve Brooks, National Director Wales, Sustrans

Steve has 20 years experience of policy and public affairs, the last 10 years of which have been in senior roles at Oxfam, the Sustainable Development Commission and most recently the Electoral Reform Society.

He is a former Wales chair of the NGO coalition Stop Climate Chaos, a former president of the National Union of Students in Wales, and also spent time working as a public affairs consultant in the private sector.

A trustee of the social justice think-tank The Bevan Foundation, Steve is passionate about making Wales a fair, prosperous and sustainable nation.
