This lecture is organised by ICE Wales Cymru, with IStructE and the Concrete Society.

Ed McCann, ‎Senior Director at Useful Simple Trust will talk about the beautiful Infinity Bridge across the Tyne.

This presentation is a classic engineers tale…….”the story of a bridge”. Like all good stories there are heroes (and villains), highs and lows and happy endings for (nearly) all involved. This bridge won some 15 awards including the IStructE Supreme Award and is widely loved by the people who use and live by it. In this lecture Ed will do his best to explain why.

This is a free event and all are welcome – ICE members and others.

Light refreshments will be served at 5.30, before the lecture which will start at 6.00pm, please book your place to ensure we only cater for registered delegtaes.

Also remember, if you are an ICE member and you book your place online (and attend!) your attendance will be registered in your ICE record.
