The Welsh Government would like to invite you to meet with policy makers and our consultants to discuss the proposed changes to the Building Regulations which seek to influence carbon emission reductions in new and existing buildings in Wales.  We want to improve the energy performance of buildings in Wales through the Building Regulations. This will help Wales move towards zero carbon and near zero carbon energy buildings by 2020. Our proposals set out in this consultation are a significant step towards that objective.

The consultation contains proposals for:

•      Changes to Part L (Conservation of Fuel and Power) of the Building Regulations

•      Changes to the Approved Documents for Wales

•      A new template for the Approved Documents for Wales

•      A discussion of future thinking as we move towards zero carbon

This is an opportunity for you to get a clear understanding of the consultation proposals, to discuss the implications of the policy and to give us your views.

How to Book: This event is free of charge but you must register in advance. To reserve your place please emailcewalesevents@cewales.org.uk stating your full contact details and the names of all delegates wishing to attend.
