On Tuesday 15th May Constructing Excellence in Wales in partnership with SE Wales Best Practice Club will be hosting a breakfast event at the newly opened Llanwern High School, Newport to demonstrate how investment in this project has delivered significant benefits for the local community.

This is a great opportunity to learn from the experiences of the project team and see how the great strides made by the team in delivering Newport High School were then taken forward and built upon for the contractor of Llanwern High School. A great example of continuous improvement

Hear from:

Value Wales – providing the Welsh Government view on community benefits
Newport City Council – their aspiration for the local community and the local economy
Leadbitter and the construction team – practical examples of how they delivered on the clients aspiration
The supply chain – what were the real benefits to them as a supply chain and how have their businesses grown.

Maximising the value gained from investment in construction is now more important than ever and we all have a part to play in this. Sign up for the breakfast event at Llanwern High School, see how the team did it and enjoy these lessons to your own projects.
