his session will investigate why and how the figure of a 55% reduction in CO2 (from Part L 2006) emissions for all new build housing was chosen for consultation in the new building regulations for Wales for 2012/13.

The session will look at methodologies to achieve the standard and potential pitfalls and costs associated, describing the process and review stages of what will have to undertaken before changes can be put in place.

This is your chance to start to be involved in the upfront consultation process, and have your views heard. It will review and highlight the changes that were made in 2009 and how potentially any changes can reinforce those steps.
