03 Aug
Wednesday 3rd August 2011
8am to 6.30pm
Llandudno
Free

The Strategy for the delivery of the low/zero Carbon agenda has now been agreed with the Welsh Government and is available on our website at http://www.cewales.org.uk. As you are probably aware there are five work streams which we have been identified for delivery to help meet the Welsh Government target of 3% year on year reduction in CO2 emissions.
These are:

  1. Residential Existing Buildings
  2. Residential New Build
  3. Non Domestic Buildings
  4. Sustainable Living
  5. Skills and Training

You are invited to a drop in session to collect your copy of the Strategy document. If you and your organisation are interested in taking part in the management and delivery of the 5 identified workstreams you will have the opportunity to come along and meet our new Hub Director, Sally Sudworth and declare your interest.

Why should you get involved?

Our intention is that involvement in the Hub will help your business, by establishing you as a market leader, will give you access to the latest tools/skills and technology to make your business more sustainable and profitable, and will establish a sound network for businesses across Wales to really make a difference in the low/zero carbon agenda. Our individual resources are limited but by working together we will be able to avoid wasted effort and duplication, and develop a far more integrated approach which will benefit us and future generations.
