South West Wales Constructing Excellence Club in association with CEW presents:

CEW and the South West Wales club is hosting a breakfast talk and site visit on the Swansea Quadrant Interchange.

The Swansea Quadrant bus station was constructed over 30 years ago and was considered to be in urgent need of redevelopment which will provide a modern bus interchange and a hub for bus transport for Swansea and outlying districts as well as providing facilities for national coach operators.

Willmott Dixon, Dawnus, Derwen and the client City & County of Swansea have worked closely on the project particularly in regard to the issues associated with the large quantity of material to be excavated and removed off site and the requirement to import a large quantity of quality aggregates.

Come and hear from the project team how they approached the project and how they succeeded in the groundworks element of the project receiving the 2010 CEW Waste Minimisation award. Following the presentation there will be a site visit – PPE is required.
