Never Waste a Good Crisis – Cardiff
Andrew Wolstenholme author of the recent CE report Never Waste a Good Crisis, which is the first major report since Latham and Egan, will be joining us on the 10th February.
The report looks to determine the level of industry progress since Rethinking Construction and define the improvement agenda for the next decade. There are major challenges on the horizon.
Most clients have already cut their long-term investment plans, and capital budgets will be at risk for many years to come as we anticipate a long period of recovery from the current recession. So what will make the industry change now when it has failed to do so before?
Andrew will talk about the findings of the report whilst Martin Sykes, Value Wales and Mike Edmonds, Chair of the CEW Procurement Task Group will look at the position here in Wales. This will then be followed by an open floor discussion on the response, implications and next steps.
How to Book: The cost of this morning event will be £45 plus VAT for club members and £55 plus VAT for non members.
