The Welsh Assembly Government believes that everyone in Wales should have the opportunity to live in a good quality home within a safe and secure community. To help achieve this aim the Welsh Housing Quality Standard (WHQS) has been produced. This standard requires all social landlords to improve their housing stock to an acceptable level by 2012.

Do you have to deliver the requirements of the WHQS? Have you wondered if there is a way of delivering the standard in a more sustainable way, can it really help with reducing Wales Carbon Footprint? What benefits will it deliver?

Come and find out how to deliver the WHQS in a more rounded sustainable way, delivering Carbon savings, reducing waste in the process and reduce running costs for your tenants and yourselves. Even if you have started the process improvements and benefits can still be delivered.

This seminar is part of a series of events being held by Constructing Excellence in Wales with BRE to explain what this means to the construction industry in Wales and what clients, developers, architects and contractors should do to meet these standards.

The charge for the event is £55 plus VAT for club members and £65 plus VAT for non club members, and you must register with us in advance.

To reserve your place please reply to the email below stating your full contact details and the names of all delegates wishing to attend. Delegates may cancel their registration and will receive a credit for the fees paid less 50% as long as we are informed two weeks before the event.  Cancellations after this will be charged in full. Substitution of delegates can be made at any time.
