CEWales E Bulletin February 24

We've come a long way together! For over 20 years, our members have set our agenda and are the driving force behind our movement. So, a big thank you goes to all our valued members of Constructing Excellence in Wales! It is nearly time for renewal, and we very much hope you will continue your membership and demonstrate your support for CEWales.

Your membership is crucial for the CE movement in Wales to continue. As we have now embarked on a new relationship between Welsh Government and CEWales, we will be relying on our members to be the source, feeding through us, specialist construction advice and real time market intelligence to Welsh Ministers. The new relationship will improve the quality of engagement between government and the sector at a time when the economy is experiencing challenging times. As a part of this work programme, we are producing a monthly intelligence report which will be sent internally throughout Welsh Government, reaching all departments. So please share your thoughts with us, your anecdotal views, suggested industry recommendations, how we can turn issues into action and your opinions. It all really matters!

It is also your time to shine, celebrate your achievements and get involved. We are receiving entries for the Constructing Excellence in Wales Awards 2024, which celebrate regional excellence and form part of the national Constructing Excellence Awards. Our awards are recognised across the Welsh built environment as the biggest and brightest celebration of best practice. They are a clear demonstration of the core strength of construction in Wales and the desire and commitment to deliver buildings, roads, bridges, and facilities of all kinds in a collaborative and sustainable manner.

Remember, our awards are free to enter, the closing date is March 4th…… but we need your support, your entries, your sponsorship and attendance at the dinner to be able to put on the biggest celebration of the year.             Celebrate & reward your team, raise your profile & attract new customers (and talent!), drive change in our industry – connect, learn and improve together and attend the Dinner & Awards ceremony.

Our CEW Awards are regarded as the absolute best and biggest event of its kind in the Welsh construction calendar. We would like to thank the following organisations for their support of sponsorship Knights Brown, CLAW, Kier, Revizto, Construction Hub Academy, Andrew Scott Ltd and Wynne Construction.

Limited packages remain for the Awards sponsorship, so please make sure you contact susan.selkirk@cewales.org.uk for details.
