Working Well Together (WWT) is about the industry working together to improve standards of health and safety.

The Principal Designer role has been a hot topic for the construction industry since the introduction of the CDM 2015. Some architects and consulting engineers are unsure of the role an d as a consequence are not comfortable in accepting the role. Some clients are also unclear who they should appoint.

Paul Bussey is the author of “CDM 2015 A practical guide for Architects and Designers”. Paul will be presenting his “CDM Differently” collaborative approach.

This will show how architects and consulting engineers can take on the role of the Principal Designer. It will be a workshop style event with a clear analysis of the CDM issues.

At the end of this event you will have suitable skills and some additional knowledge to help you deliver the Principal Designer role in a proportionate and practicable way. Your experience and wider CDM awareness and knowledge are the other essential components of a Principal Designer’s toolkit.
