Richard Parks former Wales international rugby union player made history twice with two incredible feats of endurance; a world first expedition called the 737 Challenge, where in July 2011 he became the first ever person to climb the highest mountain on each of the world's 7 continents and stand on all 3 poles (the North Pole, the South Pole and the summit of Everest) within 7 months. In January 2014 he became the first Welshman, and the fastest ever Brit to ski solo, unsupported and unassisted to the South Pole. Utilising both his commercial and performance experience, Richard proudly serves his country as a Sport Wales board member.

Come along to the next G4C Wales event to hear from Richard who will inspire and motivate you. You will learn a lot from his sheer determination to succeed often in the face of towering obstacles.

G4C Wales is a networking and development group for young professionals below the age of forty working in all sectors of the Welsh built environment and is one of the most successful and vibrant parts of Constructing Excellence in Wales. We always manage to bring together a mix of young professionals from across the construction industry who are all keen to share ideas, discuss innovative solutions for the projects they work on and improvements to the wider industry.
