CEW is working with Sophie Howe, Commissioner for the Wellbeing of Future Generations (Wales) Act 2015 and her team in the development of a Framework to assist/enable the delivery of the Act for our sector here in Wales.   The Built Environment is a key sector for the Act as it can help make people happy or sad; well or sick; productive or non-productive etc.  We know the impact the Built Environment has on all our lives, we also know how much more we could deliver given the chance.

Our ambition is that this Framework will develop into an industry Standard for Wales and will inform the concept stage, design, procurement and delivery.  It will eventually become the ‘norm’ for the industry in Wales.

The plan is to tie the Framework into the other Standards already existing – it is not to ‘add another layer or another thing to do’.  We need individuals from all sectors to attend these workshops and to input your views, your experiences and examples of work you may already be doing in this area.   Please register to attend and further information will follow closer to the date.

This is a free event but there will be a non-attendance fee of £25 plus VAT unless we have been informed 48 hours prior to the event.

It is important when booking a place on Eventbrite that the delegate email address is inserted not the email address of the person making the booking, also a separate email address must be used for each delegate to ensure all individuals are listed for the event.
