More and more litter is being washed up on our beaches and some of our best-loved marine wildlife is under threat from the waste and litter in our seas, with hundreds of species accidentally eating or becoming entangled in litter. It’s also dangerous for people and damaging to our tourism and fishing industries.

We all have a part to play in turning the tide on litter. G4C Wales in conjunction with Keep Wales Tidy are asking you to volunteer on 19th April for this important cause and help clean up our beautiful coastline! We have also been advised that until May, Keep Wales Tidy in conjunction with Terracycle will collect and recycle all plastic removed from Welsh beaches.

After all your hard work, join us for drinks and a catch up at a local venue to be confirmed

If you fancy getting involved in this great cause and meeting other young professionals from within the industry, sign up and help keep our stunning Welsh coastline clean!!

NB – Suitable clothing and footwear is recommended, wrap up warm it could be cold, if you have gloves please bring them along, we will give you a safety briefing and tell you how to go about collecting and recording your litter on the day. Litter picking equipment and collection bags will be supplied.

To book your place email stephanie.haywood@cewales.org.uk stating your full contact details.
