Construction employees will learn how the use of aerial drones have become a method to innovatively survey construction projects. This new technology is an innovative and cost effective way of surveying a range of construction works from heritage to modern buildings and civil engineering works. On successful completion of the activity you will have an understanding of: Their commercial applications (what can they be used for) Rules, Permissions & Regulation of using drones. You will gain an insight into the history of both technologies as well as a demonstration of them in use.

1:00pm – 2:00pm: Overview of Drone Use in Construction
2.00pm – 3:00pm: Drone Flight with pre-set flightpath.
3:00pm – 4:00pm: Examination of Flight Data – Real-time Readings Taken

This event is aimed at architects, surveyors and construction managers.
