About the Works

The Arbed Warm Homes scheme ran from Oct '15 – Mar '16 with the aim of delivering energy advice to residents and the installation of physical interventions on the housing stock in Teifi Ward, Cardigan and Llanarth. During the installation of works problems with failed cavities were identified and a series of remediation works were completed under guidance from BRE and CIGA. The energy efficiency and debt advice targeted 200 interventions to individuals and families that were created via referrals during the installation works. This was delivered by Ceredigion Citizens Advice and tracked via a standardised method to establish the effectiveness.

Who should attend?

This best practice event is suitable for anybody working in the energy efficiency industry that would like to learn more about the problems that can occur when installing external wall insulation, cavity wall insulation and the process of delivering effective targeted energy advice to residents.

9:30am-12:00 on 14th of December.
