CIWEM - Environmental Management of Cardiff Barrage

The event will comprise of a 20 minute presentation on the environmental management of Cardiff Barrage, followed by a 40 minute tour of the barrage.  The event will be adapted, depending on the weather, therefore bring relevant PPE. Please meet at Environment Building at 5pm.

Tea and Coffee will be available. Cost for the event is FREE and is open to non-members.  Booking is required for this event on a first come first served basis via CIWEM booking system (max 25 people) at Environmental Management of Cardiff Barrage. Speakers include David Hall and Steve Ellery, Cardiff Harbour Authority, Cardiff Bay. 

Anyone walking or cycling can use the Barrage Walkway to access the Environment Building from the Penarth or Mermaid Quay ends. If you wish to drive, then you will need to enter Cardiff Docks and inform security you are going to the Cardiff Harbour Authority offices. If you report to reception there, you will be let through the gate onto the Barrage and its about a 100 yard walk to the Environment Building. The North entrance to the Docks is closed at 6, so anyone leaving after this time will need to exit via the East gate onto Rover Way.
