The redevelopment of Ysbyty Glan Clwyd, Bodelwyddan will allow the Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board to provide fully modernised facilities and remodel the way it delivers healthcare in north Wales.

However, introducing these improvements at a ‘live’ site with minimum impact and disruption to clinical operational services presents significant logistical challenges to the construction team. The programme delivery strategy comprises of over 90 phased work sections including newbuild development, extensive internal remodelling, asbestos removal and hospital wide infrastructure upgrades over an anticipated 6 year period.

This event, hosted by the Constructing Excellence North Wales Best Practice Club, will allow the delivery team to share with you their experiences of working together as an integrated team and the lessons they have learnt. The project is being delivered under the NHS Design for Life Framework and the collaborative principles which underpin this model have been essential to the success of this project.

Why should you attend? To understand how collaborative working through integrated teams has been essential in delivering this complex programme and how these principles can be extended to other projects in other sectors.

Registration will commence at 9.30am with presentations at 10.00am. Site visits will follow at 11.00am and the event will conclude with a midday buffet lunch
