Supported by the Environment Agency Wales, CEW is hosting a breakfast seminar intending to explain more about the waste regulations and how to best work within the framework, stay legal and benefit from them.

The intention is to help contractors consider and understand the scope of the new waste exemptions on construction activities intending to use /reuse waste materials, and to understand the regulatory requirements and limits surrounding their use during construction activities. It will cover the Use, Treatment and storage exemptions available and how they can or cannot be used together.

With presenters from both CEW and the EA, we will also provide an update on the construction waste programme including the Green Compass Scheme, recycled aggregates and Trade Waste Bring Sites.

The charge for the event is £30 plus VAT for club members and £35 plus VAT for non club members, and you must register with us in advance

How to book: To reserve your place please reply to cewalesevents@cewales.org.uk stating your full contact details and the names of all delegates wishing to attend. Substitution of delegates can be made at any time.
