Stride Treglown needed to move to larger offices to allow their business to grow in Wales. The Board challenged the Cardiff Office Director to deliver an exemplar project in terms of sustainability which would demonstrate the business ethos in being at the forefront of UK knowledge whilst recognising their requirement to reduce their carbon footprint.

As a result, the building which is now complete was the first office building in the UK to achieve BREEAM Outstanding at design stage with, at the time, the highest score for any building in the UK at this stage.

Come and hear first hand if the team has met the challenge of achieving these ground breaking sustainability targets, if after 6 months the running costs are as predicted and how they kept costs at an affordable level using ‘Modern Methods of Construction’.

Peer Reviews are an essential part of the process of achieving Demonstration Project status by enabling attendees at these events to participate in the review process.

Who should attend? We welcome all disciplines of the construction industry, including clients. If this is you and you have a keen interest in the delivery of sustainable buildings at an affordable cost, you should consider registering.

How to book: To reserve your place please reply to cewalesevents@cewales.org.uk stating your full contact details and the names of all delegates wishing to attend. Substitution of delegates can be made at any time.

Non-attendance by any registered delegate will be charged in full unless you informed us by Thursday 16th June.
