Clubs

What are they?
Constructing Excellence Clubs are an opportunity for individuals and organisations to learn about the principles of Best Practice through real examples within the Construction Industry. The informal clubs are locally based and provide support and examples on how to improve businesses through continuous improvement. They give the opportunity for innovative people to learn from each other and share their knowledge and experience, to improve their business and ultimately their bottom line. We have clubs in South West, South East and North Wales and -40C (Forty Below Club).
Club Aims and Objectives
The clubs aim is to be the place where all members of the construction team, irrespective of size can learn, share and network together to improve:
- Performance
- Collaborative working
- Engagement of all, including clients, designers, contractors, suppliers, construction professionals, educational establishments, students and all other construction related businesses
This will be achieved through the hosting of a variety of rewarding and entertaining club events with expert speakers, site visits, client led debates, demonstration projects and social activities.
Who can get involved?
Anyone who is in the construction industry – from the client or owner of a building, to the design team, main and specialist contractors, house builders and materials manufacturers and suppliers. We also welcome students and those involved in education. The only pre-requisite is that you should be committed to improving your performance.
